Welcome to the Galloway Parent Book Club for 2017-2018

Welcome to the Galloway Parent Book Club LibGuides page!  We are excited to have information for all five book club meetings included in this guide.  To find out what books we are discussing and the specifics on each book club meeting click on the five tabs above. (Anything is Possible, The Underground Railroad, The Invention of Wings, The Ask, & A Confederacy of Dunces)

The Galloway Parent Book Club meets several times per year to discuss a book selected by the group or facilitator. The book club is free of charge, open to our entire parent community, and readers may join at any time during the year.

Please take a moment to look through the five books we have picked for this school year and see what might interest you.  Our goal is to get parents reading some interesting books that might generate lively discussions at a book club meeting or wherever parents might be.

Meetings, usually hosted in a parent's home, are low-key, casual and fun. For more information and to rsvp for any book club meeting please contact Cindy Lourie and Sheri Panovka at

Happy reading!
