Project Overview

This individual research project is designed to do the following:

  • Practice research skills: finding facts, paraphrasing, and citing.
  • Practice writing a paragraph with a thesis and evidence.
  • Learn about one of the essential questions below.
  • Learn from classmates who researched other topics.

Essential Questions

  • How were women involved in the Revolutionary War?
  • How did African American soldiers participate in the Revolutionary War?
  • How did spies participate in the Revolutionary War?
  • Who were the Continental Army soldiers and their allies, and what were their advantages, disadvantages and strategies?
  • Who were the British forces and their allies, and what were their advantages, disadvantages and strategies?
